Capabilities

Recycled polymer supply

Recycled resin is not simply the cheaper option. Depending on the grade and the week, it may not even be cheaper. What it is, reliably, is a lower-carbon input, 30 to 70 per cent lower than virgin against the same application, and increasingly the only way to satisfy a recycled-content obligation without restructuring your product.

Grades we move day to day

HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE, PP, PVC and PS, in all colours and melt flow indices unless stated otherwise, supplied as pellet, regrind or bale. Engineering grades and mixed streams are considered by enquiry. The answer is sometimes no, but it is worth asking.

Volumes run from single trial loads to committed multi-year supply. Spot and contract both work; which one suits you depends on how much price certainty you need versus how much you want to pay for it.

Traceability is the product

Anyone can sell you a bag of pellets. The part that is worth paying for is knowing what is in them and being able to prove it: source, polymer, grade, processing history, and a chain of custody that stands up when your customer or your auditor asks.

Every supply comes with a technical data sheet and, before any trial, a physical sample. We would rather lose an order at sample stage than have material fail on your line.

Plastic Packaging Tax and recycled content

The 30 per cent recycled content threshold is a cliff edge, not a slope: below it you pay on the whole tonnage, above it you pay nothing. That makes the marginal tonne of verified recycled material worth considerably more than its market price.

From 2027 pre-consumer factory scrap stops counting toward the threshold, which means anyone currently qualifying on the back of their own in-house waste will need verifiable external streams, and the audit trail to evidence them. This is the single most common reason manufacturers come to us at the moment.

We would rather lose an order at sample stage than have material fail on your line.

Outcome

What you end up holding

  • 01A verified lower-carbon input, 30 to 70 per cent below virgin
  • 02Documentation that stands up when your auditor asks
  • 03A position on the 30 per cent Plastic Packaging Tax threshold
  • 04Grades tested on your own line before any commitment
Process

How it works

  1. Step 01

Tell us the polymer, grade, volume and application.

  2. Step 02

We supply a technical data sheet and a physical sample.

  3. Step 03

Trial pricing agreed against the sample you approved.

  4. Step 04

Spot orders, or a long-term supply agreement with fixed terms.

Questions

Common questions about Recycled polymer supply

Can recycled resin match virgin performance?+

For a great many applications, yes, particularly where the input is post-industrial and single-source. For tightly specified or regulated applications it may need blending with virgin at a ratio we can help you establish. The sample stage exists precisely so this is settled before you commit.

What are the minimum order quantities?+

Trial quantities are deliberately small so you can test on your own line. Regular supply is normally full-load, but tell us your volumes and we will tell you what is realistic rather than what is convenient.

Does recycled content count toward Plastic Packaging Tax?+

Verified post-consumer recycled content counts toward the 30 per cent threshold. From 2027 pre-consumer waste no longer does. If you are close to the threshold it is worth modelling this now rather than in the quarter it bites.

Tell us what you make and roughly what leaves site. We will tell you whether an audit is worth your time before either of us spends any, and if it isn’t, we will say so.
